Yep, this is my second blog, as my other one faded to the background and stayed there, neglected, for about two years. I don’t seem to be very good about that kind of commitment, but the hell with it. Why not give it a second shot?
What do I expect this blog to be about? Quite frankly, I’m not sure. As the title says, definitely some of my more coherent epiphanies, and possibly a small compilation of my writing, but, as with everything else on the Internet, there’s a fine line between what to share and what not to share. But hey, why not brag while I’ve got the chance? π
Of course, my writing will be pretty crappy, as I’m not following the general rule of thumb, “Quality over Quantity”. But at least I’ve got something down, right? Hopefully, through practice, it might even end up halfway decent!
Yep, just holding out until that day comes by. Until then, the glass is still half-empty.
Now Playing: Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythmn of War DrumsΒ – A Perfect Circle
Hey Lee,
i too know that feeling, i tried starting a blog before and had the same thing, i never really planned for it to go anywhere, i mainly wanted to use it just as an outlet for stuff, like your doing, and its nice to see im not the only one π
Nice music taste btw. that s what my blogs full of π
Thank you! I’ll be sure to check out your blog soon! π
Nice you’ve changed your countdown! π
Yes! Just eight more freaking days of delightful, torturous anticipation π
Which new single do you personally like more, Chalk Outline or Still Swingin’?
Its Tough, their both really awesome, i would have to say i think that Still Swingin’ is a little bit more different and that’s why i like it. though saying that the chorus in chalk outline is so catchy! i assume your prefer 3DG? or what do you think?
Normally I would say Three Days Grace, but I hate how Chalk Outline kind of sounds like dubstep in the beginning. Still Swingin’ would probably be my choice.
But yeah, Chalk Outline -is- really catchy! I’ve had it stuck in my head ever since it came out π
not a big fan of dub-step then? i also think that papa roach has had a slightly longer career, and Still swinging does a great job of bringing all their different sounds together, though i hope that the 3DGs new album is equally experiemental π
“The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we’ve been experimenting with new instruments. We wanted to present these new ideas concisely without going over-the-top in ambience and overall production.” (From Wikipedia) From the looks of it, Transit of Venus should be π
Sweet π what other stuff you listen to?
Um.. Sick Puppies, Rise Against, Daft Punk, the Avengers Soundtrack, and other songs that I list after Now Playing at the end of my posts. Oh, and Tears for Fears. (Who doesn’t love music from the eighties?) You?
80s music is golden, because its got such a unique sound to it, 80s wise, The Cure, Duran Duran, Blondie, Motley Crue, modern day: almost anything, obviously PR, Billy, and 3DG, but i like Blink, AVA, Sum 41, Green Day, Nirvana, NIN, Madina Lake, Flyleaf. its centered around punk, hard rock, alternative metal and industrial.
I love Duran Duran! Definitely Nirvana and Green Day, but I don’t really like Flyleaf for some reason. π
You should listen to them! listen to their first album, i fell in love with it π second album is less catchy, but the guitar work sounds really cool the new single of their 3rd album, sounds like a mix of the two, im going to do something on the new single next week. π
I’ll listen to them again, but don’t expect anything miraculous π
i changed my mind, i posed it a minute ago because i found out they released another song lol π im forcing you to. π
so whats your next post going to be about? π
Wait and see π
